I'm experiencing symptoms of an overdose of adderall. The one thing really bothering me is my heart palpitations. My heart will speed up, slow down, then speed up, only to slow down again, all very quickly.
I don't feel as if i need to go to the ER but i was wondering if it was safe to take a muscle relaxer to calm my jitters while i still have around 140 to 180mg of adderall in my system? The muscle relaxer I have is Soma, by prescription. Should this be okay or should I wait this one out??You have to seek professional advice.
I do know that the heart muscle works with another system to regular muscles (cardiac and skeletal muscles) and that a muscle relaxant will not affect your heart, not at normal doses anyway.
But don't take my word for it, a cardiologist is the person to ask!I don´t think it´s safe, the heart is a muscle so it could be bad for you. You're correct, irregular heartbeats, is an effect of Adderall overdose. Please seek medical attention immediately to remove the excess drug in your system.Look, I really do not understand why people ask serious medical questions on Yahoo! Answers. We are NOT experts or doctors or nurses! Call your local hospital for crying out loud! Or at LEAST call your local pharmacist! Please, do yourself a favor! What you're describing as heart palpitations would better be described as rapid heartbeat. Heart palpitations are when it feels like your heart flip flops in your chest - just to help you describe it better to a doctor.
I agree with the other person who answered your question - this is no place to get medical advice.
I hope you're feeling better!#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
